A master's degree program with a thesis consists of a minimum of seven courses, a seminar course, and a thesis, provided that the total is not less than twenty-one credits. The seminar course and thesis are non-credit and are evaluated as pass or fail. A thesis-based master's program consists of a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, including at least eight courses and a thesis, with no fewer than 60 ECTS credits per academic term including the seminar course. The student must register for the thesis period every semester, starting no later than the semester following the appointment of their advisor.
