ISL 501 Business Management
This course covers the fundamental concepts, functions, and processes of business management. Students are introduced to the core management functions such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, while gaining the knowledge and skills required to manage organizations effectively and efficiently. In addition, modern management approaches, leadership styles, and decision-making techniques in the context of the global business environment are emphasized.
ISL 503 Research Methods and Ethics
This course aims to equip students with the methodological knowledge and skills necessary to conduct research in the fields of social sciences and business. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods, data collection techniques, scale development, hypothesis testing, and data analysis processes are examined in detail. Moreover, scientific ethical principles, avoidance of plagiarism, data security, and academic integrity are highlighted to foster an ethical research culture among students.
ISL 502 Business Economics
This course helps students understand the decision-making processes of businesses within an economic environment. Microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts are addressed from a business perspective, including cost analysis, pricing decisions, supply and demand relations, market structures, and competitive strategies. The impact of economic fluctuations on businesses and the relationship with the global economy are also discussed. Through this course, students gain the ability to effectively apply economic analyses in strategic decision-making processes.
ISL 504 Strategic Management
This course examines the strategic decision-making processes necessary for businesses to set long-term objectives, create competitive advantages, and achieve sustainable growth. Topics such as internal and external environmental analysis, SWOT analysis, competitive strategies, corporate strategies, and global strategic management are explored. Additionally, the stages of strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation are discussed, enabling students to develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills through real-world business cases.
